The initial registration period for the Fiscal Year 2025 H-1B cap will open at noon Eastern time on March 6, 2024, and will remain open until noon Eastern time on March 22, 2024. Using the online account, they will need to electronically register each beneficiary they intend to sponsor for the H-1B visa program.

As part of the registration process, a separate registration fee will be required for each beneficiary. The fee amount will be specified by USCIS, and payment must be made through the online account.

Following the registration period, USCIS will conduct a random selection process to determine which registrations will be selected for filing H-1B cap-subject petitions. Only those selected through the lottery will be eligible to submit the complete H-1B petition. USCIS will notify the selected petitioners, who will then have a designated period to submit the required documentation and fees to complete the H-1B petition process.
